QUALITY
Waterproofing and soundproofing
Fenster aluminium doors are designed to make water flow outward – which provides a high level of waterproofing. We also manufacture and supply a variety of frames and glazes that create varying degrees of noise reduction, depending on clients’ specific requirements.
Fenster’s doors offer high levels of thermal insulation and have integrated ventilation. In addition, we powder-coat our aluminium doors to the highest international standards. They are manufactured using the best European accessories and finished with a hard-wearing surface coating designed to meet the demands of the South African climate.
Safety, security and longevity
With the Fenster system, security is concealed. This technology protects the user. Our sliding stacking doors fall into the WK2 security class, which means that body weight attacks (kicking, shoulder charges, etc.) and tools (screwdrivers, pliers, etc.) will not break them.
All other doors are safety-classified as WK3 which means that, over and above standard WK2 security features, we have added elements to prevent components from being broken with a second screwdriver or crowbar. For instance, Fenster’s aluminium doors lock in four places with a unique ‘no lift’ system, so that they cannot be lifted off their hinges.
